Abstract

Transport properties and tunneling characteristics of 45° asymmetric grain boundary junctions, fabricated in YBa 2Cu 3O 7− δ films grown by liquid phase epitaxy, have been studied. For selected samples, with very low zero field critical current density, a conductance peak in the d I/d V vs V curves has been observed below T c. The position and amplitude of this peak depend on the magnetic field and temperature, indicating its superconducting origin. Strong oxygen doping effect on the gap energy was also found.
