Abstract

The manual reflects a unified theoretical and methodological basis for solving key problems of psychological and pedagogical support for gifted children who are participants in educational relations. The phenomenon of children's giftedness is considered, the types and signs of giftedness are described; a diagnosis of giftedness and psychological characteristics of gifted children is presented, the main problems in the development of gifted children and ways to overcome them are highlighted, a system of psychological and pedagogical support for gifted children is presented. The manual is intended for students of pedagogical and psychological training, teachers, practicing psychologists, and parents.
