Abstract

The present article is devoted to a review of experimental researches on psychological intervention strategies to optimize a child’s socio-psychosocial adaptation to school. The basic factors that infl uence school adaptation are noted: motivation, communication, building social relations with teachers and classmates. The approaches, structure and content of the psychologist’s work are presented. The basis of adaptation at the initial stage of education represents the good psychological readiness of the child for school. The present study highlights the fact that the level of child’s adaptation at school infl uences his involvement in the educational space, his educational success and school performance.
