Abstract

The article is an attempt to describe the multidimensional urban space of Kielce in its linguistic, cultural and social diversity, contained in the memoirs entitled Fajerkąprzez Kielce by the outstanding Kielce theatre actor, Edward Kusztal. The author’s memory journey allows us to learn about, among others: the cultural space of the city, the urban dining places and the space closest to the author himself, i.e. the familiar home and yard space of Dzierżyńskiego Street in post-war Kielce.
