Abstract
Abstract Studies have been performed to determine the proton response of several types of CR-39 used at the University of San Francisco. Detectors were exposed to monoenergetic beams of protons of energy 7.2–16 MeV, both at normal incidence and at varying dip angles. Track diameter measurements yield V T calibration curves and confirm track registration at 16 MeV for normal incidence. Preliminary results of track registration at non-normal dip angles is also presented.
