Abstract

The study examines the prospects of modeling methods application in developing strategies for counteracting the inmate subculture expansion in the penitentiary system. since it is criminology that has developed the most effective models of the mutual influence of criminal activity and crime detection activities, it seems that the forensic models are most effectively adapted to the object under study. A number of hypotheses are put forward in the article as well as their implementation in practice. The advantages and disadvantages of applying modeling methods are considered. The research subject is the modeling method itself; the research object is the parameters that characterize the high probability of illegal actions. The research goal was to explore the prospects of modeling methods application in developing strategies for counteracting the inmate subculture expansion in the penitentiary system. The methodological basis of the work is empirical methods of scientific research, theoretical methods of synthesis, formalization, axiomatization and hypothetical-deductive method. The results of the work will help to more accurately develop based on application of modeling methods strategies for counteracting the inmate subculture expansion in the penitentiary system application.
