Abstract
The protected natural Area El Orito has a lithological, structural, geomorphological, mi- ning and natural resources that deserve to be known for their heritage value. This document proposed ten points of geological and historic mining interest, in order to enhance the natural heritage and use it for sustainable development of that area. The points of geological and historic mining interest, as part of the natural and cultural values of the Guanajuato mining district, which have a high potential for use in cultural tourism that allows the conservation, protection and valuation of natural areas.
