Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic illuminated the health inequities that occur both in the UK and globally. Ultimately where individuals live, work and how they live has a major impact on the length of their life as well as the number of years living in illness. Community nurses have a key role to play in promoting health equity and addressing poorer health outcomes, however in order to achieve this they require a full understanding of the challenges and barriers experienced by those who are socially excluded or marginalized.
