Abstract

The problem of stunting is one of the nutritional problems that the Government of Indonesia is focusing on. Stunting needs more attention because it can have an impact on children's lives into adulthood, especially the risk of physical and cognitive developmental disorders if not handled properly. The target covered in this case is to overcome the problem of stunting which is expected to decrease by 2025. The method used in this community service activity is health counseling on stunting prevention. The targets and results of this community service activity are indicators of the success of the stunting prevention program. In this case, the achievement indicator is the mother's knowledge in preventing stunting, where the mother's knowledge is measured using a pre-test before the activity and a post-test after being given health education. Based on the results of the pretest and post test which was attended by 25 respondents, it can be stated that the results of the pre-test on the level of knowledge of respondents regarding stunting prevention were 8 respondents (32%) who understood the stunting prevention program, while based on the results of the post test there were 14 respondents (68%) who understood the stunting prevention program.
