Abstract

Bronchial asthma is a chronic recurrent airway inflammatory disease characterized by chronic airway inflammation, airway hyperresponsiveness and airway remodeling.Exosomes contain biologically active substances such as proteins, lipids, and miRNAs, which can transfer their contents to recipient cells and play an important role in it.Recent studies have shown that exosomes and their miRNAs are involved in the inflammatory process and intercellular communication of bronchial asthma and play an important role in the pathogenesis of bronchial asthma. This review discusses the biological characteristics and composition of exosomes, the role of exosomes and their miRNAs in asthma. Key words: Bronchial asthma; Exosome; miRNA
