Abstract
The university student in training becomes a generator of knowledge, from the perspective of professionals with academic excellence as a result of the educative process.

Cross-sectional study conducted in a Mexican university, intentional sample of 750 students, through self-administered questionnaire
There was a predominance of women (85%) average age of 22 years; 7.1% reported ailments such as gastrointestinal, respiratory, postural pain and stress; 68.3% reported smoking; 25.4% ingest alcoholic beverages; 57.5% never does exercises
Students have harmful habits to health, it is of legal drugs
Summary
El consumo de tabaco y alcohol es elevado entre la población estudiantil universitaria estudiada, esto muestra que a pesar de tener un nivel educativo elevado que les permite conocer los daños a la salud provocados por éstos o las drogas, considerados problemas de salud pública tan prevalentes en la población general, como todo ser humano buscan alguna forma de evitar el estrés por la carga de trabajo.
