Abstract

The aim of this work is to study the way universitaries students adapt language to their specifical needs. We are specially interested in the capacity of this group to create new words and renew vocabulary and expresions. How universitary people uses morphological basic mecanisms as well as phraseology are the main goals of our study. The study is based upon the observation of a real oral corpus collected for a group of researches from the University of Alicante. We assume that young people's language is an important source of lexical creation and we'll try to show till which point this asumption is real.
