Abstract

The article considers a set of factors that influenced the current development of throat singing in Tuva. In the course of evolution, musical improvisation of onomatopoeia to nature acquired an independent form and was reflected in the original and unique in its style art of Khoomei. Currently, there is a continuity of the performance of the Tuvan Khoomei, so the heritage of older generations continues to play an important role in folk traditional culture. The relevance of the research lies in the need for a comprehensive analysis of the problems of continuity in view of preserving and strengthening the traditions of the performing art of Tuvan throat singing, and assessing the contribution of Khoomeizhi to the formation and development of the musical culture of Tuva. The article reveals the mechanism and nature of the transferring of knowledge about Khoomei in Tuva. The results of the study are presented in the form of conclusions regarding the dynamics of the spread of the Tuvan Khoomei and measures to preserve the Tuvan intangible cultural heritage through the Tuvan Khoomei development model.
