Abstract

Hydrostatic pressure-induced ferroelectric-antiferroelectric phase transition of Nb-doped Pb(Zr,Sn,Ti)O 3 ceramics have been studied, and effects of temperature on the behaviors of pressure-induced phase transition have been investigated, also. It has been found from experimental results that the pressure-induced phase transition from ferroelectric to antiferroelectric is the first order according to the polarization dependence of hydrostatic pressure, and that the phase transition pressures from ferroelectric to antiferroelectric increase with increasing temperature.
