Abstract
It has been a challenge for the team of editors and publications-office staff to keep up with the large number of paper submissions to SEG's flagship journal, GEOPHYSICS. Peer review is at the heart of scientific publishing, and high-quality refereeing is essential in assuring the excellence of our journal. GEOPHYSICS relies mainly on a large number of volunteers who take the review process of all technical submissions seriously. We ultimately depend on volunteer editors and referees to maintain the quality of our publication.
