Abstract

All papers published in this volume of Journal of Physics: Conference Series have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing.▪ Type of peer review: Single-blind / Double-blind / Triple-blind / Open / Other (please describe) The type of peer review carried out in the article selection process at ISComSET 2020 uses a single-blind peer-review. Manuscripts will be sent to at least one anonymous reference for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. Besides, Reviewers also do not know whose article they are reviewing.▪ Conference submission management system: All article management processes in ICComSET 2020 starting from submission to acceptance / rejection are carried out through the online system on the page: https://pvj-is.umtas.ac.id/comset/ and submission system by application on https://confbrite.org/2020/pvjis/kfz/▪ Number of submissions received: The number of articles submissions in ISComSET 2020 Management System is 600 articles.▪ Number of submissions sent for review: The number of submissions sent for review is 600 articles▪ Number of submissions accepted: The number of submissions accepted is 415 articles▪ Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received X 100): Acceptance Rate = (415/600) x 100 = 69,17 %▪ Average number of reviews per paper: The average number of reviews per paper is at least 1 review.▪ Total number of reviewers involved: Total number of reviewers involved is 30 Reviewers. Any additional info on review process: An editor first reviews the submitted manuscript. It will be evaluated, whether it is suitable for the 1st PVJ ISComSET 2020 focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw and similarity score by using Ithenticate software. Furthermore, the manuscript will be sent to at least one anonymous referee for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation (double-blind peer review). Reviewers’ comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses. Finally, the suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterward, the Editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.Utilizing feedback from the peer review process, the Editor will make a final decision.The review process will take approximately 1 to 2 weeks. Decisions categories include:1. Reject - Rejected manuscripts will not be published, and authors will not have the opportunity to resubmit a revised version of the paper to the 1st PVJ ISComSET 2020.2. Resubmit for Review - The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, it may be accepted. However, it will require a second round of review.3. Accept with Revisions - Manuscripts receiving an accept-pending-revisions decision would be presented in the 1st PVJ ISComSET 2020 under the condition that minor/major modifications are made. Revisions will be reviewed by an editor to ensure necessary updates are made before publication.4. Accept - Accepted manuscripts will be published in the current form, with no further modifications required. But before that, it must still be presented in the 1st PVJ ISComSET 2020.The reviewers’ and editors’ suggestions would be conveyed to the author, who will then have an opportunity to revise the paper. A manuscript returned to an author for revision can be held for a maximum of two weeks. Finally, after accepted, all articles that are declared accepted by the Editor, must be presented at the 1st PVJ ISComSET 2020.
