Abstract
The current issue of Visual Resources is dedicated to Paul van Moorsel (1931–1999), one of the pioneering scholars in the world of early Christian art history, whose legacy lives on in the center which now bears his name and is devoted to the study of the art and culture of this period in the Near East. Paul van Moorsel left a large collection of slides and images from his career which have been digitized by the Index of Christian Art Princeton University and are available on the Internet to the scholarly world.
