Abstract

UPIOT 2019 was held in Chongqing, China, August 21-23, 2019. UPIOT 2019 was organized by Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering(APISE), sponsored by IEEE Industrial Electronics Society Shanghai Chapter, Member Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Chinese Society For Electrical Engineering, CSEE, Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineerings(HKSME) and Sichuan Nuo Yi Convention & Exhibition Service Co., Ltd, Media supported by Journals Center, China Electric Power Research Institute. This conference aims to provide a platform for researchers and engineers to share their ideas, recent developments and successful practices in Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things and the related topics in Green Energy and Smart Grid. The participants of the conference were from almost every part of the world, with background of either academia or industry, even well-known enterprise. The success and prosperity of the conference is reflected high level of the papers received.The proceedings are a compilation of the accepted papers and represent an interesting outcome of the conference. This book covers 3 chapters: 1. Smart grid; 2. Equipment and status monitoring; 3. Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things.We would like to acknowledge all of those who supported UPIOT 2019. Each individual and institutional help were very important for the success of this conference. Especially we would like to thank the organizing committee for their valuable advices in the organization and helpful peer review of the papers.We sincerely hope that UPIOT 2019 will be a forum for excellent discussions that will put forward new ideas and promote collaborative researches.
