Preface

Abstract

The University of Technology in Baghdad represented by the Civil Engineering Department has been collaborated with the Istanbul Technical University-Turkey to set the fourth release of the International Conference on Buildings, Construction and Environmental Engineering (BCEE4), which is being held this year in Istanbul Technical University, Ayazaga Campus from 7 to 9 October 2019. The conference in this year was preceded by three previous successful releases, which were held in Baghdad, Beirut, and Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.The main aim of the BCEE4-2019 Conference is to bring together scholars, researchers, educators, students, professionals and other groups who are interested in Buildings, Construction and Environmental Engineering studies to present their works in this academic platform. Thence, acquainting on the innovative research methodologies and on the latest findings in the civil engineering field.The scope of this conference proceeding covers most of the subjects related to the civil and environmental engineering i.e. Structural Engineering and Construction Management, Building Material and Nano Technology, Geotechnical and Geological Engineering, Transportation and Highway Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Sustainability, and lastly Geomatics Engineering.The conference has delivered an excellent impression in terms of the number of articles received and participants. Approximately, 250 submissions have been accepted in this proceeding and almost 300 scholars had attended the sessions.The editorial board is grateful to El Asraa Univesity, Collage of Dijla, and Komar University for their generous support.
