The 2019 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications (ICAITA 2019) was held in Qingdao, China, from 5 to 7 July 2019. The conference report reflects the current interests of international and Chinese research circles, such as artificial intelligence applications, artificial neural networks, natural computing, parallel processing, pattern recognition, programming languages and data mining. We are glad to introduce you that the 2021 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications (ICAITA 2021) was successfully held on September 10-12, 2021. In light of worldwide travel restriction and the impact of COVID-19, ICAITA 2021 was carried out in the form of virtual conference to avoid personnel gatherings. Because most participants were still highly enthusiastic about participating in this conference, we chose to carry out ICAITA 2021 via online platform according to the original schedule instead of postponing it.ICAITA 2021 is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications to a common forum. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications and another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working all around the world. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications and related areas.This scientific event brings together more than 100 national and international researchers in artificial intelligence technologies and applications. During the conference, the conference model was divided into three sessions, including oral presentations, keynote speeches, and online Q&A discussion. In the first part, some scholars, whose submissions were selected as the excellent papers, were given about 5-10 minutes to perform their oral presentations one by one. Then in the second part, keynote speakers were each allocated 30-45 minutes to hold their speeches.We were pleased to invite three distinguished experts to present their insightful speeches. Our first keynote speaker, Prof. Yau Kok Lim, from Sunway University, Malaysia. His research interests include Applied artificial intelligence, 5G networks, Cognitiveradio networks, Routing and clustering, Trust and reputation, Intelligent transportation system. And then we had Prof. Peter Sincak, from Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia. His research includes Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems. Lastly, we were glad to invite Chinthaka Premachandra, from Shibaura Institute of Technology, Sri Lanka. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, image processing and robotics. In the last part of the conference, all participants were invited to join in a WeChat group to discuss and explore the academic issues after the presentations. The online discussion was lasted for about 30-60 minutes. The first two parts were conducted via online collaboration tool, Zoom, while the online discussion was carried out through instant communication tool, WeChat. The online platform enabled all participants to join this grand academic event from their own home.We are glad to share with you that we still received lots of submissions from the conference during this special period. Hence, we selected a bunch of high-quality papers and compiled them into the proceedings after rigorously reviewed them. These papers feature following topics but are not limited to: Artificial Intelligence Applications & Technologies, Computing and the Mind, Foundations of Artificial Intelligence and other related topics. All the papers have been through rigorous review and process to meet the requirements of international publication standard.Lastly, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Chairman, the distinguished keynote speakers, as well as all the participants. We also want to thank the publisher for publishing the proceedings. May the readers could enjoy the gain some valuable knowledge from the proceedings. With the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, global economic models and market structures are undergoing profound transformations, particularly in the fields of international trade and logistics, where the application of AI is becoming a key driver for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer experience. Traditional international trade and logistics systems face multiple challenges such as supply chain opacity, high transportation costs, information asymmetry, and low operational efficiency. The introduction of AI technology, especially in areas such as big data analytics, machine learning, automation systems, and intelligent decision support, has gradually demonstrated its powerful potential in addressing these issues. This study aims to explore the specific applications of AI in international trade and logistics, as well as its role in driving the digital transformation of global supply chains. By analyzing the practical applications of AI in key areas such as supply chain management, trade data processing, and intelligent logistics, this paper seeks to provide valuable theoretical support and practical guidance for relevant enterprises and policymakers to promote industry development and enhance corporate competitiveness. To achieve this goal, the study adopts a case study approach, combining current industry data and AI technology development trends to comprehensively assess the current state and future potential of AI applications in international trade and logistics.

To review the application and research progress of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in trauma treatment. The recent research literature on the application of AI and related technologies in trauma treatment was reviewed and summarized in terms of prehospital assistance, in-hospital emergency care, and post-traumatic stress disorder risk regression prediction, meanwhile, the development trend of AI technology in trauma treatment were outlooked. The AI technology can rapidly analyze and manage large amount of clinical data to help doctors identify patients' situation of trauma and predict the risk of possible complications more accurately. The application of AI technology in surgical assistance and robotic operations can achieve precise surgical plan and treatment, reduce surgical risks, and shorten the operation time, so as to improve the efficiency and long-term effectiveness of the trauma treatment. There is a promising future for the application of AI technology in the trauma treatment. However, it is still in the stage of exploration and development, and there are many difficulties of historical data bias, application condition limitations, as well as ethical and moral issues need to be solved.

Extension of the POS-TI relationship – in the context of contemporary hotels with AI applications

Purpose This study aims to extend the classic perceived organizational support (POS)–turnover intention (TI) relationship in the context of the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in contemporary hotels. Design/methodology/approach This study adopted an explanatory sequential design. Stage 1 – Quantitative Methodology. A total of 554 valid questionnaires with the random sampling technique were collected with the help of the China Hotel Association. This study combined SPSS and SmartPLS software to verify hypotheses. Stage 2 – Qualitative Methodology. This section obtained a sample size of 24 interviewees with the objective sampling technique. The researchers transcribed all interview materials into text and used NVivo version 14 to explain the results of hypothesis testing. Findings This study shows that POS significantly impacts employee TI in contemporary hotels with AI applications, and both the perceived value and threat of AI play partial mediating roles between the two. Research limitations/implications The results are conducive to providing practical enlightenment for the contemporary hotel industry with AI applications. Practical implications In contemporary hotels where AI technology is widely used, this study provides practical guidance for hotel managers, employees and AI technology developers from the dual perspectives of value and threat, aiming to minimize the TI among hotel employees caused by AI technology. Originality/value To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this study is the initial attempt to design a dual mediation model with the perceived AI for the POS–TI relationship.

All accepted papers were published by Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS) and have been indexed by EI and Scopus.The 2020 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications (ICAITA 2020) was successfully taken place on August 21–23, 2020 in Guilin, China. ICAITA 2020 is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications to a common forum. The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications and another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working all around the world. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications and related areas.The conference model was divided into two sessions, including oral presentations and keynote speeches. In the first part, some scholars, whose submissions were selected as the excellent papers, were given 15 minutes to perform their oral presentations one by one. Then in the second part, keynote speakers were each allocated 30–45 minutes to hold their speeches. There were some 100 participants including students, engineers, researchers and academicians who had many fruitful discussions and exchanges which contributed to the success of the colloquium. Artificial Intelligence (Ai intelligence) abbreviated for AI. It is a science and technology to study and develop theories, methods, techniques and application systems for simulating, extending and expanding human intelligence. With the progress of science and technology, artificial intelligence has become the development strategy of many countries, countries gradually integrate artificial intelligence into all areas of society. As a new place for technological innovation activities in recent years, the open, shared, innovative and democratic nature of the creative space has given it a very wide range of development prospects.The application of artificial intelligence in the creative space can realize the intelligent management process, intelligent business operation, intelligent online communication, intelligent material management, intelligent personalized information push service, environment and order maintenance intelligence, aiming to create a new type of creative space, further attract creative talents from all walks of life and develop into high-quality creative and entrepreneurial distribution center.The information age environment has provided unprecedented new opportunities and challenges for the creative space. To realize the intelligence of the creative space, we need to do a good job in the following four aspects of the response. First of all, the development of creative space should focus on and break through the key technologies of AI, combine with the needs of users, combine the technological achievements of external artificial intelligence, give full play to artificial intelligence talents and technological advantages, and tap the greatest value of the creative space. In this era of rapid development of global science and technology, artificial intelligence and industrial technology are converging at an unprecedented speed, driving social progress and industrial upgrading. In order to deeply discuss the latest development in these two and relevant fields, share research results, and promote academic exchanges and cooperation, we are honored to have organized the 2024 4th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Technology Applications (AIITA 2024). This proceedings is the crystallization of this event, which brings together the wisdom and insights of experts, scholars, engineers and technicians from all over the world. AIITA 2024 was grandly held in Guangzhou, China from April 12th to 14th, 2024 via hybrid form, attracting over 200 participants from all over the world. The conference aimed to provide a platform for experts and scholars, engineers and technicians, researchers and developers in the fields of artificial intelligence and industrial engineering to share scientific research results and cutting-edge technologies, understand academic development trends, broaden research ideas, and strengthen academic research and discussion. During the conference, the participants had an in-depth discussion on a number of topics related to the application of artificial intelligence and industrial technology, and jointly explored the new direction of future development. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology, as one of the most sophisticated science and technology in today's world, is increasingly being used to production and life, particularly in the manufacturing business. it demonstrates how artificial intelligence technology is used in mechanical manufacturing, namely in defect detection, quality inspection, enhancing workplace safety, and other areas. Artificial intelligence technology is becoming increasingly important in people's lives as it becomes more widely used in people's daily lives, such as the widespread use of smart dishwashers and smart sweepers, which are the products of the fusion of artificial intelligence and the mechanical manufacturing industry. Indeed, artificial intelligence technology has been widely utilized in the mechanical manufacturing business, which not only ensures production precision, but also enhances job productivity and workplace safety. The rise of artificial intelligence has caused significant changes in the manufacturing industry as a whole. Without exception, the manufacturing industry must rely on AI technology to accomplish automation and intelligent development, as well as to improve productivity. Using artificial intelligence to categorize mechanical components, we may propose parts from a based solely on an image or CAD model. To find a necessary component in a machines we must currently browse through a catalogue and be able to discern which part you want based on the available possibilities and your understanding of the catalogue. There are serial numbers to memorize since a single digit or character change might indicate a different sort of part. The algorithm will choose which sections are the best and will significantly facilitate our search.

How the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) affects Chinese art design professionals’ career exploration behavior: the roles of job insecurity, psychological distress, and proactive personality

Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is reshaping the industry ecosystem at an unprecedented pace in the field of art and design. AI technology has enormous potential to enhance creative efficiency and expand artistic expression. However, the widespread application of AI also poses serious challenges to practitioners’ professional development. Therefore, this study, based on data from 485 questionnaires, used Mplus 8.8 to explore the mechanism of the relationship between AI application and career exploration behavior among art and design professionals. The findings are: (1) The application of AI is positively related to career exploration behavior among art and design professionals. (2) Job insecurity mediates the relationship between AI application and career exploration behavior. (3) Psychological distress mediates the relationship between AI application and career exploration behavior. (4) Job insecurity and psychological distress play a chain mediating role between AI application and career exploration behavior. (5) Proactive personality moderates the relationship between AI application and career exploration behavior. These conclusions encourage collaboration between individuals and organizations and promote sustainable career ecosystems amid technological change.

Introduction: In todays rapidly changing technology, artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the way we live, work and create art at an unprecedented speed. As an important part of human culture, dance art has also ushered in new development opportunities and challenges in this scientific and technological revolution. Objectives: This paper aims to explore the innovative application and influence of artificial intelligence (AI) in dance creation and performance. With the rapid development of AI technology, its application is increasingly wide in the field of art, and dance art is no exception Methods: This paper first outlines the application of AI technology in dance creation, including the generation of new dance movements through algorithms, auxiliary choreography, etc. These applications provide unprecedented creative sources and tools for dance creators. Then, this paper analyzes the role of AI in dance performance, such as the accurate movement performance of dance robot, the immersive experience of virtual reality technology in dance performance, etc. Results: These technologies not only enrich the form of dance performance, but also broaden the viewing experience of the audience. In addition, this paper also discusses the application of AI in dance teaching, such as intelligent guidance system, distance dance teaching, etc., which bring convenience and personalization to dance teaching. However, the application of AI in the field of dance also faces technical challenges and art ethical issues, which need further research and discussion. Conclusions: In conclusion, this paper believes that the application of AI technology in dance creation, performance and teaching has broad prospects, but it also needs to pay attention to its potential impact and challenges to promote the harmonious coexistence of dance art and AI technology. The 2021 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Technology Applications (AIITA 2021) was planned to be held on June 18-20, 2021 in Nanchang, China. Due to the impact of COVID-19, many communities from all over the world were under strict health measures and strict travel restrictions, and participants of 2021 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Technology Applications (AIITA 2021) also meet with the difficulty of travel restrictions. For communities, if our conference was not held in a virtual form, it would add huge work on traffic system, Exit-Entry system, medical system, etc., which is quite a serious issue, to actively respond to the call of the government, to strengthen the protection work, to effectively reduce people gathering and prevent COVID-19, considering the situation that most of the authors would like to publish their articles and make academic communications as scheduled, AIITA 2021 was held online instead of postponing the conference. It was a challenge, not only to the organizers, but also to the participants who were delivering their speeches using videoconference tools, under different time zones.AIITA 2021 was hosted by Jiangxi Province Robot Industry Alliance, organized by AEIC Academic Exchange Information Center. AIITA 2021 is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Technology Applications to a common forum. The conference model was divided into two parts, including keynote presentations and online discussion. After the keynote talks, all participants joined in a WeChat communication group to discuss more about the talks and presentations.We were greatly honor to have invited two distinguished experts as our keynote speakers. Prof. Philippe Fournier-Viger, from Harbin Institute of Technology, China was the first one to perform a thought-provoking speech. His Research interests: Data Mining, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Mining, Itemset Mining, Graph Mining, Sequence Prediction. Another keynote speaker, Assoc. Prof. Md. Shohel Sayeed, from Multimedia University, Malaysia. He had outstanding research in Biometrics, Image and Signal Processing, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and soft computing. Their insightful speeches had triggered heated discussion in the second session of the conference. The WeChat discussion lasted for about 30 minutes. Every participant praised this conference for disseminating useful and insightful knowledge.We were glad to share with you that we received lots of submissions from the conference and we selected a bunch of high-quality papers and compiled them into the proceedings after rigorously reviewed them. The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications (ICAITA) is an annual conference focusing on the research areas of and related to artificial intelligence technologies and applications. It aims to establish a broad and interdisciplinary platform for experts, researchers, and students worldwide to present, exchange, and discuss the latest advance and development in related disciplines and domains. This volume contains the papers collected from 2024 6th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications (ICAITA 2024), held during June 14th to 16th, 2024 in Changchun, China. The topics cover Artificial Neural Networks, Neuroinformatics, Computational Theories of Learning, Machine Learning, Fuzzy Logic and Methods, etc. Each of these papers has gained a comprehensive review by the editorial team and professional reviewers, and has been examined and evaluated for its theme, structure, method, content, language, and format. Cooperating with prestigious universities and institutes, ICAITA 2024 organized a series of programs including welcoming speech, keynote speech, oral presentation, poster presentation, academic discussion, among others, bringing together about 150 participants worldwide. In the keynote speech session, eminent speakers from top universities and institutions including Haijun Zhang (National Outstanding Youth Fund recipient, IEEE Fellow, Professor of Beijing University of Science and Technology), Xiangjian He (National-level Talent, Chair Professor of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China), Qinmin Yang (Zhejiang University), and Dongjing Miao (Harbin Institute of Technology) shared their researches and fully discussed and exchanged the development dynamics and research direction on “Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications.” Their presentations, based on cutting-edge research, offered unique perspectives on the forefront of computer science development, and explored future industry trends. Active participation and enthusiastic exchanges amongst experts and scholars enriched the discussions, with the sharing of novel research findings, practical experiences, and technological innovations. The 2024 6th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Applications has established a high-quality international academic exchange and cooperation platform for scholars and practitioners working in the fields related to artificial intelligence technologies and applications, linking the paths among science and technology, talents, industry, service, and innovation, stimulating the innovation vitality of researchers in universities and institutes, promoting the innovation and application of artificial intelligence technologies, and fostering the development of relevant industries. On behalf of the conference committee, we would like to give sincere gratitude to all the authors and speakers who have made their contributions to ICAITA 2024, editors and reviewers who have guaranteed the quality of papers with their expertise, and the committee members who have devoted themselves to the success of the conference.
