Abstract

The educational practice in La Guajira, proposed by the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education of the Faculty of Education in the Universidad El Bosque, Colombia, follows the aim of offering a real closer experience to the early Childhood Educator to the ethno-education, with boys, girls and educators from the Wayuu indigenous community in the town of Camarones. The experience presented here was developed with four students from different semesters of the program, based on the cooperation project between the Faculty of Education and the Renuevos Foundation, since 2018. Interculturality was the principle of action in ethno-education. We present the assessment of cultural differences and human richness of teachers in training from aspects such as flexibility, empathy, creativity and understanding of immersion in different contexts.
