Abstract

Abstract : The application of the Volterra series method for the analysis of circuits with multiple nonlinear elements and multiple multi-frequency input sources is described. Using multi-dimensional transform theory, an approach for deriving the Volterra transfer functions is given. The computation of the sinusoidal steady-state response from these transfer functions is presented. Finally, algorithms for adapting the Volterra series method for computer-aided steady-state analysis of nonlinear circuits are described. A complete documentation of the program PRANC, which uses the Volterra series approach, is also contained in this report. (Author)
