Abstract

Objective To study the effects of stage management mode in the quality control circle activity. Methods A total of 32 clinical departments were chosen in our hospital from March to December 2014, and randomly divided them into control group and experimental group with 16 clinical departments in each. In control group the activities were carried out through traditional methods while the experimental group were using the stage management mode, and then compared the quality control circle activities score, self-efficacy score of circle members and quality control circle knowledge level. Results The quality control circle activity score, the knowledge level of the quality control circle, and the general self-efficacy of the test group were (72.88±14.25) points, (81.04±10.44) points, (3.21±0.48) points. That of the control group were (56.06±17.77) points, (63.63±17.59) points, (2.35±0.42) points. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (t=-2.952, -10.967, -17.402, P < 0.01). Conclusions The stage management mode is a innovation in quality control circle management style, The mode could effectively promote quality control circle activity, improve the ability of the circle members, improve the quality of care.
