Veterinary Medical Residency; Poultry Health/Diseases, UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS. The Department of Poultry Science and Center of Excellence for Poultry Science at the University of Arkansas invite applications from qualified individuals for a veterinary medical residency in poultry health and diseases. The appointment will be for 18 mo. Applicants must possess a D.V.M. or equivalent degree and be licensed or eligible to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Arkansas. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include working closely with both the poultry science faculty and poultry industry personnel on projects dealing with poultry health and diseases. The individual will be supervised by a committee made up of veterinarians from the University of Arkansas and from the poultry industry.
