Abstract

We report on the progress towards an integrated system for optical spectroscopy of gases. The system is composed of two MEMS devices, a tunable optical filter and a photothermal spectrometer. Progress in the development of each component is discussed, with emphasis on the utilization of porous silicon to manufacture the components of the tunable filter.
