Abstract

AbstractThe polymerization of acrylonitrile was carried out in absence and in presence of CuCl2, CoCl2, NiCl2 and CdCl2. The formed polymer complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and UV‐vis spectroscopy. The rate of polymerization of acrylonitrile increases in presence of CuCl2 and CdCl2, while no effect was observed with CoCl2 and NiCl2‐
