Abstract
Public policies, private benefits begins the Thesis collection edited by the Responsible Tourism Forum, a platform formed by various NGODs and whose main objective is to analyze and monitor the transnational tourism sector from a critical position. The publication brings together three studies commissioned by the Responsible Tourism Forum from external researchers. The first two (La Jihad desarrollista: estudio y analisis critico sobre el territorio marroqui como mercado para las ETN tu- risticas e inmobiliarias espanolas and Tu- rismo sin fronteras: mecanismos y organis- mos publicos para la internacionalizacion de la industria turistica espanola) were carried out by Rodrigo Fernandez Miran- da, an independent researcher who works in the field of consumption and international relations. The third (Heritage, leisure and profitability: neoliberalism and its impact on public tourism policies in Peru) was carried out by Rodrigo Ruiz Rubio, a Peruvian anthropologist, activist and lecturer specialising in tourism policies.
