Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the treasury revenues from three lands, which were parts the Podlaskie Voivodeship after the administrative reform of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1566: Bielsk, Drohiczyn and Mielnik; in 1569 Podlasie Voivodeship became part of the Kingdom of Poland. Revenues taken into account consist of public and court treasury revenues, both grand ducal and royal, during the economic, political and tax reforms of the 1560s and 1570s. It was the period when the administration of royal estates was reorganized and the tax system modernized under the influence of the costs of wars.
