Abstract

The article continues the subject published in the last issue of the journal “Studia Podlaskie”. This study describes the family’s history from the second half of the 17th century to the beginning of the 18th century. The peak of its importance was connected with the activity of the cousins: the cup-bearer of the Bielsk Land, Krzysztof Stanisław (the son of Apollon) and the swordbearer of this land, Stanisław Jan (the son of Archilles). They owed their success to ties with the Branicki family, who after the death of Bogusław Radziwiłł became hegemons in the northern Podlasie.
