Abstract
This article is devoted to the problem of solid domestic waste disposal. Since most of the SDW is stored in landfills and rubbish dumps, this inevitably leads to the alienation of large areas. Moreover landfills are often sources of secondary pollution of the environment: conditions are created at waste storage sites that contribute to the spread of infections and the occurrence of fires. In connection with the foregoing, the solution of the problem of waste treatment has become of primary importance in recent years. The article analyzes of known methods of SDW processing, special attention is paid to plasma technology based on the use of a plasma chemical reactor and a low-temperature plasma generator - a plasmatron. The mobile unit will partially solve the environmental problem in places of mass recreation. In a stationary version, the unit can be used for generating heat and electric energy. Plasma technology can allow not only to completely dispose of dangerous wastes, but also to produce goods and services ready for consumption. In this way it will completely involve the waste in further production, which is the basic principle of rational nature management.
