Abstract
This article introduces some basic information about the plant reoviruses Oryzavirus, Fijivirus, and Phytoreovirus, including taxonomy and classification criteria, virion structural morphology and viral genome organization, replication and gene expression models, dynamic distribution, host range and transmission, viral pathogenicity, and diagnosis and control methods. This article provides extensive information about plant reoviruses and offers a list of further readings for interested readers.
