Abstract
Nitel desende gerçekleştirilen bu durum çalışmasında, bilgisayar ve öğretim teknolojileri eğitimi alanında bir elektronik mentorlük programı gerçekleştirilmiştir. Grup mentorlük modelinin kullanıldığı programda, lisansüstü eğitimlerine devam eden öğrenciler bir çoklu ortam geliştirme projesi süresince lisans öğrencilerine mentorlük yapmıştır. E-mentorlük programı üç aşamalı bir yapı içinde 17 haftada tamamlanmıştır. Nitel verilerin toplandığı çalışmanın sonuçları, mentorlerin mentilere birçok konuda destek olduğunu göstermektedir. Bunlar içinde en öne çıkanlar; akademik dilde rapor yazma, nitelikli çoklu ortamların seçimi, projenin planlı ve işbirliği içinde yürütülmesi şeklindedir. Mentorlere göre programın kendilerine sağladığı en önemli katkılar, yeni dostluklar kurmaları ve bu süreçte iletişim becerilerinin gelişimidir. Ayrıca mentorler bir proje ekibinin nasıl yönetileceğini öğrendiklerini ve mentilere yardımcı oldukları için meslekî doyuma ulaştıklarını bildirmektedir. Mentiler açısından ele alındığında e-mentorlük programı; işbirliği içinde çalışabilme, proje sürecini deneyimleyerek öğrenme ve teknik beceriler geliştirme konularında önemli katkılar sağlamıştır.

E-mentoring applications include three basic roles as coordinator, mentor and mentee. If the mentor gives guidance and the mentee is the one who needs the support, the setting does not differ much from the classical mentorship concept. What is different here is that digital technology is used for the interaction between the mentor and the mentee. Compared to the US and Europe, the academic studies related to the use of mentoring in education in Turkey are at the beginning level yet (Kuzu, Kahraman and Odabaşı, 2012).
