Abstract
Abstract Pilomatrixoma, a rare benign adnexal tumor, accounting for 0.12% of all skin tumors. It is predominantly found in children and young adults, with a higher incidence in females. The majority of pilomatrixoma cases are localized to the head and neck area, followed by the upper extremities and trunk. In this report, we describe an exceptionally uncommon clinical presentation of an elderly male with a nodular lesion on his toe, initially misdiagnosed as a ganglion.
