Abstract
Piezoelectric properties of Pb-based ferroelectric ceramics, such as PMN-PT, PZN-PT-BT, PNN-PT, were studied. The results show that these ceramics all have good piezoelectric properties near the morphotropic phase boundary. After thermal annealing, there are apparent improvements in the piezoelectric and dielectric properties. This phenomenon can be attributed to the extrinsic contributions of the domain walls movement.
