Abstract

While developing curricula for the discipline "Physical Education", there are several aspects to be considered such as the development of motivation to acquire and improve soft skills and the development of relevant personal qualities particularly important in technical specialties. To do this, it is necessary to reveal the structure of overall educational competences, skills and personal qualities underpinning the formation of theoretical modules and independent studies in physical education of students. Thus, the issues and requirements of physical education system encountered by future specialties occupy an important place in the pedagogical process of mastering and improving their professional competences geared not only to determining their activity potential, but also contributing to the acquisition of specialty-related skills. Entering to the circle of disciplines that form the overall and professional foundation of the future specialist’s personality, physical education contributes to the humanization of higher technical education.
