Abstract

Phubbing and organizational communication are characteristics linked to each other, which can occur in society today. The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between phubbing (Ningufoneo) and organizational communication in the last 5 years within a university; considering theoretical aspects and studies conducted at the Universidad Nacional de Cajamarca, UPN and Universidad Cesar Vallejo. The methodology was based on an inductive-deductive method; as well as the analytical method to explain the causes and effects of the phenomenon, quantitative approach with a basic type of research, correlational level, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. On the other hand, a simple random probabilistic sampling was used for 550 teachers between 28 to 80 years of age and 1100 collaborators between 18 to 70 years of age and to collect information, the survey technique was applied with questionnaire instruments. Finally, the results showed that there is a correlation between both variables; all the points of view reviewed are detailed in the discussion.
