Abstract
AbstractIt was found that copolymerization of maleic anhydride (M1) and styrene (M2) is initiated by the effect of the visible light in the presence of cyclohexanone. The copolymerization parameters were determined by the method of Fineman and Ross (r1 = 0.046 and r2 = 0.020) and by the method of Kelen and Tüdös (r1 = 0.035 and r2 = 0.017). The mechanism of the initiation is discussed.
