Abstract
Within the scope of this article, we consider the philosophical views of the outstanding Ukrainian writer and public figure Panteleimon Kulish regarding the essence and direction of education. The article is devoted to the study of the concept of education in the context of constitutional and legal aspects that determine the role of education in the formation of national identity and civil society. The work examines the main ideas highlighted by Panteleimon Kulish in his works and publications regarding the importance of education as a component of personality development and the formation of national consciousness. In particular, the article examines the philosophical aspects of the educational process, emphasizing the role of the Ukrainian language and culture in the educational environment. It is analyzed how Kulish’s views can be applied in the context of constitutional and legal issues related to education.
