Abstract

The yields of low molecular weight products in the radiolysis of cyclohexane and benzene in condensed phases were studied as a function of irradiation temperature in a pile. Typical phase effects on the yields in most of the products were observed in both media. In the liquid targets, higher values were found for the G-values of hydrogen and hydrocarbons than those in γ-radiolysis in the literature.
