Abstract
—We stated fully, soon after the last meeting of the American Medical Association in Washington, that the constitution of that organization had been so amended that permanent membership could be obtained without actually attending an annual meeting. Any member of a regular State, District, or County Medical Society entitled to send delegates to the National Association, can become a member of the latter organization by simply sending to the Treasurer, Richard J. Dunglison, M.D., lock box 1274, Philadelphi, Pa.,<i>five dollars</i>as annual membership fee, accompanied by a certificate signed by the President and Secretary of the State or local Society to which he belongs, stating that he is a member in good standing, and desires to be enrolled as permanent member of the National Association.
