Abstract
Internet is a one pause solution enabling ubiquitary access to all our digital needs. Although people are moving towards massive usage over internet to access digital resources, difficult to configure networks to the dynamic change at the backend. To accelerate management and configuration of new network policies, rules, criteria and deploying it to network appliances, network hardware, network software, SDN was recently proposed phenomena to address the same. SDN helps network operator to separate logic driven controller of the network appliance from its underlying hardware layer and allow network operator to program to meet its changing demands. To address the limitations over traditional network, it is as worth as to check the pertinence and capability to confront the fault tolerance attribute of open flow controllers in SDN. SDN open flow Controller's performance acts one of the key aspect towards the accomplishment of the SDN objective which it meant for. In this paper, we state steps for the observations which can be carried out by using various open flow SDN controllers like POX, Open Daylight, Floodlight, Ryu using open flow protocol acting as southbound API interfacing to data plane on an emulation environment like mininet by analyzing throughput of various open flow controllers and to check their performance over mesh topology with respect to increase no. of nodes proportionally, comparing them at the last for optimized solution.
