Abstract

ABSTRACTThis paper presents a general expression for the bit-error rate performance of quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), considering arbitrary branch selection combining (SC) receiver over two-wave diffuse power Fading Channels. The impact on the performance of the M branch-SC receiver, caused by the fading parameters Δ and K, has been analysed for different QAM constellations. The expressions have been numerically evaluated and the results obtained have been verified using Monte Carlo Simulation.
