Abstract

A general expression for the bit-error rate (BER) performance of quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), have been presented in this paper, considering arbitrary branch Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) Receiver, over two-wave diffuse power (TWDP) Fading Channels. Analysis of the impact caused by the fading parameters Δ and K, on the performance of the M branch-MRC receiver, have been done for different QAM constellations. Numerical evaluation of the expressions and finally the verification of the results using Monte Carlo Simulation have been done.
