Abstract
The goal of this work is to investigate the efficiency of a ferrite electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppressor when it is placed in a real surrounding. Because of that, commercially available ferrite component is tested in a simple digital circuit realized on PCB. Two configurations of digital circuits are analyzed: with and without EMI suppressor placed on a conductive line at the output of the first circuit, which is a potential “source” of the interference. The measurement is obtained by digital oscilloscope TDS 2024B in the frequency range up to 200 MHz. Measured data with and without implemented EMI suppressor are presented.
