Abstract
This paper presents a performance analysis of an onshore wind farm in Thepharak district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, Thailand. There are 2 wind farms in the area, each wind farm consists of 3 MW Vestas V136 wind turbines in a total of 30 wind turbines. There are totally 60 wind turbines with capacity of 180 MW. The paper considered only 1 feeder with 6 wind turbines with total capacity of 18MW. The data measurement used the SCADA system for collecting parameters that are composed machine availability, grid availability, system availability, and energy production. The measured data had been collected for one year during January to December 2019. The capacity factor was therefore calculated from the measured data. The annual capacity factor of wind turbine was found to be 38.82% and the total energy production was 64.9865 GWh.
