Abstract
The equality woman position between man position has already set up on some prominent figure, such, Plato and Socrates, to stand prosperous life. In the reformation era, societies are getting development on how they aware to make equal about that, there is no limitation for woman to get some activities, as long as not hamper the regulation that has been exist. Those concept has already implemented for Tengger society. This article is an hermeneutic phenomenology study of Tengger woman. It focus on how gender relation between man and woman of Tengger Argosari that have a family, and the impact of gender relation it self. The data for the research were obtained thought interviews with some informants and participatory observation. The result show that culture contractionis not hamper the equality condition of different sex. Tengger woman have some significant rules and position in a family.
