Abstract

The purpose of this research paper is to investigate the perceptions of school administrators in the Sultanate of Oman on the leadership training programs offered by the Ministry of Education and Educational Regions.
 A questionnaire was designed and distributed to 200 school administrators who attended two leadership training programs implemented jointly by the Ministry of Education and Educational Regions. SPSS and a descriptive analysis approach were used to analyze collected data. 
 The sample perceived the training programs to be useful and effective in developing their leadership skills. However, more professional training is needed in areas of problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
