Abstract

Abstract The purpose of the study was to find out the 3rd grade undergraduate's perceptions about drama before and after the course drama in education. The participants of the study were comprised of 3rd grade undergraduates enrolling in the course “drama in education” (DIE) in the faculty of education in Baskent University during the fall semester in 2011 – 2012 academic year. The qualitative data were obtained through interviews, mind maps and metaphor analysis. Qualitative data analyses were conducted. The data analysis showed that there were differences between the participant's perceptions about drama before and after taking the course “drama in education.”
