Abstract

Considering a multidimensional model of psychological well-being as a reference, this study sought to design and analyze the psychometric properties of an instrument to measure the perception of urban psychological well-being. This construct is understood from an ecological-environmental perspective, positioning the individual in relation to the city they inhabit, from which various subjective orientations would be derived. The study was conducted with a non-probability sample of 376 Copiapó, Chile adult inhabitants. Through a Confirmatory Factor Analysis, an adequate goodness of fit of the hypothetical model was confirmed. The instrument's reliability is adequate. The results allow us to conclude that the interpretations made with the instrument have evidence of validity and reliability to measure the construct.
