Abstract
Dua metoda berbeda perhitungan keperlan air irigasi tanaman padi yakni pedoman dalam Kriteria Perencanaan Irigasi Bagian Jaringan Irigasi KP01 dan CROPW AT-8.0 dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Perbedaan tersebut terjadi pada parameter yang digunakan yakni evapotranspirasi tanaman acuan (ETo), hujan efektif, kebutuhan penyiapan lahan, koefisien tanaman, dan data fisika tanah. Rerata nilai ETo metoda KP-01 lebih besar (123,6%) dari CROPWAT-8.0. Hujan efektif KP-01 lebih kecil (42,9%) dari CROPWAT-8.0. Kebutuhan air untuk pengolahan tanah pada CROPWAT-8.0 dihitung selama sebelum dan selama proses pelumpuran, sedangkan pada KP-01 digunakan metoda Van de Goor dan Zijlstra. Kebutuhan air untuk penyiapan lahan dengan CROPWAT-8.0 lebih besar daripada KP-01. Keperluan air irigasi dengan CROPWAT-8.0 umumnya lebih kecil dari KP-01, disebabkan oleh perbedaan metoda hujan efektif.
